Genentech Technical Tour: Heat Pump Chiller System
Building on a presentation about Genentech’s innovative CO₂ Air Source Heat Pump system earlier this year, we’re excited to invite you to an in-person technical tour at Genentech’s Security Building in South San Francisco. This event offers a unique opportunity to see the system in operation and gain firsthand insight into its performance, integration, and the lessons learned since installation.
The tour will be led by Jeff Skacel, Michelle Dionello, and Ravel Ravel from Genentech, who will share updates since the initial presentation and provide both design and operations perspectives. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of how heat pump chillers can be effectively applied in large-scale facilities to reduce carbon emissions and optimize energy efficiency.
Following the tour, we’ll gather for a presentation and open discussion at one of the on-site cafés—an excellent opportunity to continue the conversation, ask questions, and connect with fellow engineers and industry professionals.
Special thanks to our event sponsor, Air Treatment Corporation, for their generous support in making this tour possible.
