Will Slope
Will Slope is currently a Sales Engineer at Air Treatment Corporation. He works on their refrigeration team developing economical equipment solutions for customers with low temp storage and process needs. Primarily working with natural refrigerants, Will has recently helped to secure state grant funding for food processors seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. Graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2017, Will began working at Air Treatment immediately. He has spent his time since then learning about Ammonia and CO2 applications in industrial cooling settings. Calling Santa Cruz, CA his home has allowed him to routinely visit smaller bay area commercial cooling sites, as well as large industrial agricultural sites in the Salinas valley. His greatest excitement about working in low temperature refrigeration is being on the cutting edge of tangible environmental progress. Natural refrigerants are the key to long term sustainability in cooling due to their low GWP and wide range of temperature applications. In his free time, you can find Will hiking with his wife Jacqueline, surfing the coast, or spending time with his dog and rabbits. |
