A very kind man. He hired my dad in mid 80's and facilitated my family's move from the Netherlands to the US. He was a lot of fun my dad says. Later, I would occasionally bump into him at Crissy Field where we both windsurfed together.

Dick, you were my first boss back in 1982 when I got a job at Glumac's as a young engineer, and by far the best oneI´ve ever had. Extraordinary professional, amazing tennis playes, but most importan, excellent person. With people like you, the world will always be a nice place to live in. I will never forget you.

DICK was a wonderful man, well liked. He was a great businessman and an avid athlete, being quite the player at the Golden Gateway Tennis Club. Always a gentleman with some great life stories. He will be missed. I just learned of his passing, therefore the late condolences. My deepest sympathy to the GLUMAC family.

Dick, Thank you for all you did over the years especially your work with The Embarcadero Center. I really enjoyed working with you and listening to you on the development stories related to The Embarcadero Center. You’ll be missed but thank you. Godspeed. Danny
